Day 5

Hi all,

Today we pulled up stakes and drove 250 miles to Salmon Arm where we will spend the next two days. It was a long drive over here, most of it two lanes and very hilly and curvy, but very beautiful. Took us about 7 hours, so not much of the day left.

We must have passed 10 lakes coming across BC, this was the first.

Lake Alta

If you look way in the distance you can see this guy has it all and what a runway.

We spot the sun shining on this beautiful glacier at the top of a mountain.

Fall is here and the colors are everywhere.

A bubbling brook. It looks a lot better in motion. See short clip

Our pick of the day. Lillooet Lake

Notice the railroad tracks running along the right side of the lake.

Sounds like they have the same problems we have in the states.

Cool railroad tunnel. Looks like a model railroad set.

Just another beautiful lake.

This one is so nice I might just rent one of those cabins down there.

I tried to talk Prilly into saving a buck and go to this great motel. One & Two bedroom suites only 50 bucks a night ! And no TAX what a bargain.

Look there's a vacancy ! Maybe we can get a turret room with a rotating bed. Oh crap, they are all booked up. Maybe next time.
